Established in 1994 (2052 Bikram Era) and currently complete two decade and to obtaining academic excellence as well as modernization in its system, SUNSARI TECHNICAL COLLEGE (STC) is about 400 kilometers from Kathmandu and instituted in a unique location at eastern region of Nepal. It’s rare and incredible geographical position avails its further development day by day. The college has wide range of faculties and departments. Approximately 1300 students are studying from Technical SLC to Post graduate level. About 100 teachers and 50 administrative staffs are working currently. The college is controlled by the executive board of this organisation.
SUNSARI TECHNICAL COLLEGE was originated by the combined efforts of People of DHARAN with very common mission of providing higher education to the students of this area, however, now SUNSARI TECHNICAL COLLEGE has excelled itself in many fields. It has occupied a prominent place in the educational sphere of eastern region of Nepal. Regardless of big number of students, scientific building with comfortable class rooms and considerable physical facilities, a spacious library, modern science labs, good practical hall, good computer lab, email & internet access, a 100 bedded private hospital, a canteen, pure drinking water plant, a pleasant herbal garden all speak well of the college.
